Bookings: Provisional bookings can be made by phone or email, but will not be confirmed until the booking forms and non-refundable deposit of 25% has been received within 7 days of provisional booking being made. If the booking is made less than six weeks in advance, then the total rental cost if payable at the time of booking.

Acknowledgement of Booking: We will confirm your booking in writing or by email on receipt of your deposit.

Payment: Balance of payment is due six weeks before your arrival. Failure to do so will result in the booking and payment being forfeited. Directions to the cottages will be sent on receipt of final payment.

Cancellation: Should it become necessary to cancel your holiday please inform us without delay. Every attempt will be made to re-let the property, in which case any monies paid will be refunded less the non-refundable deposit. If we are unable to re-let the property then all monies will be forfeited. We strongly advise you to take out cancellation insurance.

Arrival and Departure: The property will be available after 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.

No Smoking: For the safety and comfort of all our guests the cottages are strictly non-smoking.

Pets: We regret pets are not allowed. (Assistance dogs allowed)

Care of the Property: The Tenant undertakes to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the letting (reasonable wear and tear excepted). The Tenant is to report any damage and is liable to pay for the value of any part of the premises or the furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged. At the end of the Tenant's stay the property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.

Owners Access to the Property: The owners reserve the right to access the property during your stay at any reasonable time for essential repairs and maintenance.

Liability: The use of the accommodation and amenities at Deerhurst Cottages is entirely at the users risk and no liability can be accepted for death, injury & loss or damage to users belongings. No responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to belongings or vehicles. This is the responsibility of the Tenant at all times.

Short breaks: Short breaks are available from Nov to March for a minimum of 3 nights and are charged at 60% of the weekly rate; each extra night will be charged at 10% of the weekly rate.
