About the 2010 festival

This spectacular event will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend in one of England’s oldest and most delightful churches, The Priory Church of St Mary nestling by the River Severn in the village of Deerhurst. The historic church will be transformed into a glorious, fragrant and colourful living art gallery bedecked with vibrant floral displays depicting the theme for 2010 INSPIRATIONS

The Festival runs from 10 am till 5.30 pm on Saturday 28th, Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August.

Hot and Cold Refreshments including delicious home baked cakes are served all day on the Priory Lawns along with a selection of craft, charity and local stalls to browse over – a good chance to stock up on plants and to do some early Christmas shopping!

New for 2010 - There will be a fun zone for children with games, face painting and much more.

The well established Art Exhibition takes place in nearby Oddas Chapel, with many local artists exhibiting. The Church Tower is open each afternoon – you can try your hand at bell ringing - and there will be entertainment and music to add to the festive atmosphere.

There is ample car parking adjacent to the church and comfortable access for wheel chairs.
